FACTORYVILLE, Pa. – The Elmira College women's volleyball team dropped its Tuesday evening matchup to the Giants from Keystone College, 3-0. The Soaring Eagles were led on the offensive side by Morgan Richardson '25, who finished the contest with ten kills, while Madi Conti '28 chipped in five of her own to go along with a pair of blocks.
Asia Curkendall '25 would finish her evening with 15 set assists, ten digs, and three kills.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Keystone would open the first set with a 5-1 advantage before a quick storm back saw Elmira use a 6-0 run, and eight of nine points to take a 13-9 lead following a kill from Richardson. With Elmira eventually leading 18-16 in the opening frame, the Giants would see six kills in a stretch of taking nine of 11 points to eventually take the opener, 25-20.
- In the second, Keystone would be off and running early, taking a 13-5 lead which eventually stretched into a 20-8 advantage following a seven consecutive point swing. The Giants would take the set 25-11 in which they hit .400% as a team, finishing the set with ten kills and two errors.
- In the third, the set would see a 6-6 tie before Gabriella Rodriguez '26 took the service position for the Soaring Eagles. EC would go on to score seven consecutive points, in which the Soaring Eagles saw two kills and a service ace, along with three Giants errors to take a 13-6 lead.
- With Elmira eventually holding the 20-10 advantage, Keystone would score 15 of the next 17 points which included eight kills to eventually take the set 25-22, and the match.
- As a team, Elmira would hit .067% from the floor, finishing with 24 kills as a team compared to 33 for the Giants.
