ELMIRA, N.Y. – Head coach John Franchi and the Elmira College men's wrestling program have announced their 2025-26 competition schedule, which features a challenging slate of invitationals, duals, and conference meets leading into the postseason. The schedule includes a mix of regional rivals, traditional tournament stops, and the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships to close the year.
The season begins on Saturday, November 1, when the Soaring Eagles travel to the Pitt-Bradford Quad where they will take on the Panthers, Jamestown Community College, and Utica University, followed by back-to-back days at the Ithaca Invitational (Nov. 7–8). Elmira then heads to Scranton for the Electric City Duals (Nov. 16) before wrapping up the month at the NYS Collegiate Open (Nov. 22), hosted at Onondaga Community College.
The Soaring Eagles open December at home against Pitt-Bradford (Dec. 3) inside Speidel Gymnasium before traveling to Elizabethtown for the Blue Jay Classic (Dec. 6).
After the holiday break, Elmira returns to action with a home dual against Misericordia (Jan. 7) in the team's annual Code Purple Match, along with Senior Day for the Class of 2026. Road action continues with the Empire Collegiate Tournament against St. John Fisher, Utica, and SUNY Brockport (Jan. 10), before Elmira competes in the SUNYAC Meet at Brockport (Jan. 24).
February features a road stretch with duals at Keystone (Feb. 7) and Utica (Feb. 13), setting the stage for the postseason. The Soaring Eagles will compete at the NCAA Mideast Regionals (Feb. 28–Mar. 1), looking to advance individuals to the national championship stage.
