WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles traveled to Williamsport on Saturday for the NCAA Region 2 Qualifiers.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Elmira went with a lineup consisting of Selvin Maldonado '25 (141 lbs.), Victor Hyland '28 (149 lbs.), Hollis Berry '25 (157 lbs.), Kahajen Smith '25 (165 lbs.), Casey Cooper '25 (174 lbs.), and Nicholas Lopez '28 (285 lbs.).

Maldonado, Hyland, Smith, Cooper, and Lopez all dropped their first two matches, ending their seasons.

Berry lost his first match by major decision before winning his first consolation match by fall at 3:51. Unfortunately, that was the Soaring Eagles' lone win of the day, as Berry would lose his next match by way of a 7-0 decision.
