BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Elmira College men's wrestling team traveled to Brockport to compete in the 2025-26 SUNYAC Conference Tournament. Elmira garnered an eighth place finish out of nine teams. Most notable,
Donavan Smith collected a first-place finish in the 165-weight class.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Smith competed in the 165-bout and posted a 4-0 record on the day. He opened the day with a bye in the first round before recording a 13-11 decision against Jack Pickersgill from Cortland. Smith advanced to face Gavin Seiler from Cortland where he recorded the fall at 0:39 to advance onwards. Smith met with Christopher Reddy from Ithaca who had to forfeit the match due to injury to place him in the championship bout. Smith collected his first-place finish after recording a 5-4 decision against Ryley Monica from Oneonta State.
- John Robyck competed in the 285-weight class and posted a 1-2 record on the day. His lone win came against Nick Aldino from Cortland in a 3-2 decision.
- Kaiden Ellis competed in the 157 bout and posted a 1-2 record on the day. His lone win came against Dante Coppole from Saint John Fisher in a 10-7 decision.
- Pat Stauring was seen representing the Soaring Eagles in the 149-weight class.
- Cache Littrell was seen representing the Soaring Eagles in the 174 bout.
- Nick Lopez was seen representing the Soaring Eagles in the 285-weight class.
