GENEVA, N.Y. – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles made the short trip to Geneva to face off against the reigning three-time defending National Champion Hobart College Statesmen. The Soaring Eagles fell 0-6 in the second contest against the No. 1 Statesmen.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- A tightly contested first period saw both teams trading chances. Elmira's defense and goaltending held firm at times, but Hobart managed to establish steady pressure.
- Hobart broke the deadlock at 11:01 of the second period, claiming the lead and shifting momentum significantly. Hobart's offense and defense executed sharply, leaving Elmira's best stretches blocked.
- In the third period, the Statesmen ran away with the match. The Soaring Eagles showed glimpses of fight but were unable to convert on key opportunities.
