Goleniak Awarded CCM/AHCA Division III Women's Ice Hockey All-American Accolades

GLOUCESTER, MASS. – NCAA Division III women's head coaches have recognized the top 32 hockey players in their division by selecting them as CCM Hockey/AHCA All-Americans for 2024-25. All 32 honorees come from the U.S., with Massachusetts, which had eight selections, and Minnesota, with seven players, providing the most All-Americans.

Senior forward Erika Goleniak earned All-America honors for the second consecutive year, garnering East First Team recognition for the Elmira College women's ice hockey program. Last year, Goleniak earned East Second Team honors at the forward position for the Purple & Gold. Goleniak is the 24th player in program history to earn first-team honors.

Recently named as a finalist for the AHCA Laura Hurd Award, the Canton, Michigan native was voted the 2024-25 New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Player of the Year and was selected to her second All-NEHC First Team after pacing the Purple & Gold this season in goals, assists, and points.

Earlier this season, Goleniak skated in her 100th career game for Elmira while also becoming the most recent member of the 100-point club for the Soaring Eagles. Goleniak notched her 40th point of the season with a goal in the third period in Elmira's 4-1 loss against UW-River Falls in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. She became the first EC skater to reach the 40-point mark since Morgan Mordini during the 2021-22 season.

Goleniak finished the season for Elmira with 18 goals, 22 assists, and 40 points, all of which are career highs. She closes her career with the Purple & Gold, having played 120 games and ranks 12th all-time with 122 points.
