DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Elmira College Cheerleading team competed in the preliminary round of the Advanced All-Girl and Advanced Small Coed Divisions on Thursday at the 2025 NCA & NDA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The Soaring Eagles were one of five programs to hit the Bandshell stage on Thursday morning in the Advanced All-Girl Division III preliminary round. Elmira tallied a raw score of 87.00 with a 2.75-point deduction. The raw score and an event score of 21.0625 placed Elmira third behind SUNY Cortland and Alma College.
Final performances for the Advanced All-Girl Division are scheduled to begin at 10:04 a.m. on Friday at the Bandshell. The five performance times are 10:04 a.m., 10:12 a.m., 10:20 a.m., 10:28 a.m., and 10:36 a.m. Awards are slated to begin after the final performance of session one on Friday at 1:00 p.m.

The Elmira College Dance Team will perform in the Hip Hop Division III National Championship preliminary round at 9:30 a.m. on Friday inside the Ocean Center Hall. The finals will be held on Saturday.
