WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Elmira College men's lacrosse team allowed two shots under its season-high on Saturday afternoon, which followed with a 28-1 setback to the Wildcats from Penn College. The Soaring Eagles, who were held to just three shots on goal during the contest, earned its lone tally off the stick of Corbin Melie '28 (unassisted), at the 6:26 mark in the second quarter.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In its first matchup between the squads in program history, the Wildcats would jump out to an 11-0 lead after the first quarter, and would post the same number of goals in the second as the home team carried a 22-1 lead into the break.
- At the 6:26 mark in the second quarter, Elmira would see its lone goal scored off the stick of Melie, who would notch his fifth tally of the 2025 campaign.
- In the first half, the Wildcats held the advantage in shots on goal (30-3), while being able to hold the Soaring Eagles to no registered shots on goal in the second half and a 31-2 advantage on faceoffs.
- Isaac Craft '26 would finish with 13 saves in net for the Purple & Gold.
