ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Elmira College women's volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 set deficit against Keystone College and forced a fifth set by overcoming multiple double-digit deficits in the fourth before surrendering the final set for a 3-2 loss Tuesday night in Speidel Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Soaring Eagles put together a string of seven points to take a 17-13 lead that carried them to a 25-22 first set win.
- Elmira was a point away from taking a 2-0 set lead at 24-23 before the Giants scored the last three to steal the second set at 26-24.
- The third set was just as close as the second with the teams tied 23-23 before the Giants closed out the third set with a 25-23 win.
- The fourth set started out strong for Keystone with leads of 14-3 and 18-5 before Elmira crawled back at 20-10 and then took 19 of the last 26 points for a 29-27 win.
- The Giants came out strong in the fifth set with a 6-1 lead and the Soaring Eagles cut that lead to 8-6 before falling 15-8.
- Lilyanah Doolittle '29 led Elmira in kills with 12 and blocks with four.
- Gabriela Rodriguez '26 added a team-best 20 digs, while Erin Bracken '28 finished with 20 assists.
