ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Soaring Eagles returned to Campus Field on Wednesday for an Empire 8 Conference matchup against SUNY Geneseo, as the Knights recorded a 9-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Joah Byers '29 recorded her first collegiate goal in the second quarter for the Soaring Eagles. Nicole Luther '28 added the assist on Byers' tally with just under two minutes left to play in the frame.
- Elmira goalkeeper Angelina Caban '26 registered a career-high 18 saves, including 10 in the first quarter of action.
- Geneseo opened the scoring at the 4:54 mark of the first quarter and would take a 4-0 lead into the break.
- The Knights closed the scoring with three goals in the fourth quarter and finished the contest with a 16-1 advantage in penalty corners.
- Peyton DeMaio '27 recorded a pair of defensive saves and increased her program record to 21 during her career.
