ELMIRA, N.Y. – The women's soccer team fell to visiting Utica University, 2-0, on Saturday. The Purple & Gold were deadlocked with the Pioneers at the break, but Utica scored twice in the second half including a goal on a penalty kick to take the win.

- The Pioneers scored twice in just over a three-minute span in the second half with the latter goal coming in the 64th minute.
- Utica's Amber Piersma had both Pioneer goals with her second tally coming on a penalty kick.
- Utica held the edge in shots, 14-4, with three finding the target for Elmira.
- The Pioneers also had an advantage in corners, 2-0.
- Emily Seiler '28 registered a team-high two shots.
- Elmira Goalkeeper Sarah Cantrell '29 finished with four saves on the day.
