Women's Wrestling Lands Two Top Honors with Nine All-Conference Selections

LATROBE, Pa. – The AMCC released its selections for its women's wrestling All-Conference awards on Wednesday morning. Junior Zoey Lints was tabbed the AMCC Wrestler of the Year while Head Coach Cody Griswold was named the AMCC Coach of the Year. Along with them, Abby Duke, Megan Edwards, Gabby Bradigan, Lints, and Talia Robles landed spots on the All-Conference First Team in their respective weight classes. Kali Bailey, Tess Clabaugh, Angelina Caban, and Alexis Bilka-Durdon each landed spots on the All-Conference Second Team in their respective weight classes.

Lints, AMCC Women's Wrestler of the Year, has had a standout junior campaign in which she posted a 35–1 record. She accounted for 130.5 team points for the Soaring Eagles, marking 23 victories by fall, six by technical superiority, and only two by decision. She has pinned every opponent she faced in under one minute. She has consistently held the No. 1 regional ranking since the beginning of the season and has continued to rise nationally, earning a No. 3 ranking in the country. Lints stands in fifth place in the NCAA for falls with 19.

Coach Griswold, AMCC Coach of the Year, has led the Soaring Eagles to a 14-8 overall record, in just his fifth season with Elmira. In AMCC, he has posted a 5-0 record while claiming the first-ever AMCC women's wrestling team championship.

Senior Duke, 110-weight class, has marked a 14-2 overall record this season. She has accounted for 49.5 team points, marking seven falls and three by technical superiority.

Junior Edwards, 124-weight class, has posted a 35-6 overall record this season. She has accounted for 124.5 team points, marking 16 falls, 11 by technical superiority, and only four by decision. 

Senior Bradigan, 138-weight class, has recorded a 27-8 overall record this season. She has accounted for 94.5 team points, marking 12 falls, six by technical superiority, and only three by decision. 

Sophomore Robles, 160-weight class, has marked a 26-11 overall record this season. She has accounted for 104 team points, marking 16 falls, two by technical superiority, and only four by decision.

Freshman Bailey, 131-weight class, has posted a 13-12 overall record this season. She has accounted for 60 team points, marking seven falls and three by technical superiority.

Junior Clabaugh, 138-weight class, has posted a 7-7 overall record this season. She has accounted for 35 team points, marking four falls and one by technical superiority.

Senior Caban, 180-weight class, has posted a 9-14 overall record this season. She has accounted for 39 team points, marking five falls.

Sophomore Bilka-Durdon, 207-weight class, has posted a 14-12 overall record this season. She has accounted for 63 team points, marking seven falls, one by technical superiority, and only three by decision.
