HORSEHEADS, N.Y. – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles cheer squad competed in their first event of the 2026 season on Sunday where they hosted the Upstate Collegiate Championship inside the Murray Athletic Center.

Elmira's Small Coed Advanced was seen collecting a first-place finish with a score of 92.7.

The Soaring Eagles All Girl Advanced was seen collecting a second-place finish with a score of 81.65.
