Elmira, N.Y. – Elmira College Director of Athletics Rhonda Faunce has announced that Savannah Terry has transitioned into the full-time role of Director of Game Management and Intramurals after serving as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach while also overseeing the College's intramural programming.

In addition to her responsibilities with women's volleyball and intramurals, Terry also led the Soaring Eagles' flag football program during the 2025-26 season before handing the program over to Billy McCrae. Under her leadership, Elmira advanced to the inaugural Empire 8 Flag Football Championship game, highlighted by an upset victory over the tournament's No. 1 seed in the semifinals.

Since arriving at Elmira College, Terry has played an integral role in the growth of the Department of Athletics, balancing responsibilities as head coach of the women's volleyball program while leading intramural offerings. In her expanded administrative role, Terry will devote her full attention to enhancing the student-athlete and campus recreation experience through game day operations and intramural programming. Her leadership, organization, and commitment to the student experience has made her a valuable member of the Soaring Eagles staff.

"Savannah has been an invaluable member of our athletics department since joining Elmira College," said Faunce. "She has done an outstanding job balancing multiple responsibilities while always putting our student-athletes first. As our department continues to grow, this transition allows Savannah to focus on an area where she has already made a tremendous impact. We are excited to see her continue elevating our game day operations and expanding opportunities for our campus community through intramural programming."

As Director of Game Management and Intramurals, Terry will oversee the planning and execution of home athletic contests while continuing to develop and enhance Elmira College's intramural program, creating engaging recreational opportunities for students across campus.
