Elmira, N.Y. – The Elmira College Department of Athletics has announced its 2026 Hall of Fame Class, which will induct eight former student-athletes representing eight sports. This year's honorees include Pat Sullivan '00 (Men's Lacrosse), Trenton Tate '85 (Men's Basketball), Jess Zoltowski '14 (Women's Basketball), Jill Hubert '93 (Softball), Mike Haviland '90 (Men's Ice Hockey), Callie Black '05 (Field Hockey), Dylan Bellinger '17 (Baseball), and Ashley Ryan '15 (Women's Ice Hockey).

The Class of 2026 marks the seventh group to be enshrined in the Elmira College Athletics Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 3, in Stephans Lounge inside Meier Hall. 

Pat Sullivan '00, who served as the head coach of the men's lacrosse team during the 2026 season, is one of the most accomplished offensive players in Elmira men's lacrosse history. Sullivan holds the single-season program record with 75 points in 2000 and ranks second all-time in career points (236), trailing only teammate and 2024 Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Franey '00. Following his collegiate career with the Purple & Gold, Sullivan was selected by the Rochester Knighthawks in the seventh round (62nd overall) of the 2000 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft.

Trenton Tate '85 owns two of the top-five scoring seasons in men's basketball program history, totaling 484 points during the 1983-84 campaign and 483 points in 1984-85. Tate ranks third in program history with 1,500 career points, third in assists (397), among the top 10 in field goal percentage (.539), and shares the program record for single-season scoring average after posting 21.0 points per game in both 1983-84 and 1984-85.

Jess Zoltowski (Earll) '14 remains the all-time leading scorer in Elmira women's basketball history with 1,631 career points, while three of her four seasons rank among the program's top-five single-season scoring performances. As a senior in 2014, Zoltowski averaged 21.1 points per game, including a season-high 31-point performance in Elmira's road victory over Houghton on January 14. She earned D3hoops.com All-America Honorable Mention honors, was named to the D3hoops.com All-East Region First Team, was selected as the Empire 8 Player of the Year, and earned Elmira College Athlete of the Year honors. Her career average of 17.4 points per game ranks second only to 2023 Hall of Fame inductee Mary Kay Babcock '82, while she also ranks ninth in career rebounds (587) and second in made free throws (366).

Jill Hubert (Simon) '93 established herself as one of the most dominant pitchers in Elmira softball history. Hubert owns the program's career earned run average record (1.43) and remains the all-time leader in career wins (45). Her 17 victories during the 1991 season, when she struck out 91 batters, rank first in single-season program history, while her 21 career shutouts remain the program standard. During the 1993 season, Hubert posted a stellar 0.99 ERA and issued only three walks. Her .633 career winning percentage also ranks first in program history.

Mike Haviland '90 earned ACHA First Team East All-America honors during the 1989-90 season after leading the Purple & Gold with 39 goals and 71 points. A member of Elmira's men's ice hockey 100-point club, Haviland recorded six game-winning goals, 17 power-play goals, and four hat tricks during his All-America campaign. After concluding his professional playing career in 1991, Haviland began coaching in 1999 as an assistant with the Trenton Titans. He later served as head coach of the American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals from 2005-07, earning the Louis A.R. Pieri Memorial Award as the AHL Coach of the Year during the 2006-07 season. Haviland went on to serve as an assistant coach with the Chicago Blackhawks from 2008-12, winning the Stanley Cup in 2010, spent seven seasons as head coach at Colorado College, and most recently served as an assistant coach with the Columbus Blue Jackets from 2024-26.

Callie Black '05, the most decorated player in Elmira field hockey history, continues to hold the program records for career points (83) and career goals (41). She earned Empire 8 All-Conference First Team honors three times and was a member of the winningest class in program history. In 2023, she was named to the Empire 8 25^th Anniversary team. This honor highlights student-athletes, teams, coaches, and administrators who played a key role in the league's success over 25 years. Black was also named to the NFHCA North Atlantic All-Region Second Team in 2003. She was a dual-sport athlete, competing for the Soaring Eagles softball program for two years as well. Her contributions to Elmira Athletics extended beyond her playing career, serving as an assistant softball coach from 2005-07, a volunteer assistant field hockey coach from 2017-19, the first head coach of the women's cross country program from 2014-16, and helping reintroduce men's cross country as a varsity sport while serving as its head coach from 2015-16.

Dylan Bellinger '17 becomes the first player in Elmira baseball history to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Bellinger holds the program records for RBIs (91), total bases (237), slugging percentage (.566), and doubles (44). A three-time Empire 8 All-Conference selection, he also earned D3baseball.com All-New York Region Second Team honors and ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Second Team recognition during the 2017 season. An Elmira native, Bellinger held the program's career home run record (13) until it was broken during the 2026 season and concluded his senior campaign with a 13-game on-base streak.

Ashley Ryan (Magill) '15 is one of the most decorated players in the illustrious history of the Elmira College women's ice hockey program. A member of Elmira's 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship team, Ryan was a two-time First Team All-American during her career with the Purple & Gold. During her senior season, she recorded 61 points in 30 games, earning the Laura Hurd Award as the top player in NCAA Division III women's ice hockey. That same season, Ryan broke Elmira's single-season assist record with 42 assists while tying the NCAA Division III record for assists in a season. She was also a two-time NCAA Division III All-Tournament Team selection and a four-time all-academic honoree. Following graduation, Ryan spent two seasons as Director of Women's Ice Hockey at Northeastern University and currently serves as an assistant women's ice hockey coach at Alvernia University.

The Elmira College Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters whose accomplishments have significantly contributed to the tradition and excellence of Soaring Eagle Athletics. The Class of 2026 will officially be inducted during a ceremony on Saturday, October 3, in Stephans Lounge inside Meier Hall.
