2012 Season
Lindsay started 12 of the 13 games she appeared in for Elmira College… She led the team in assists (17, 2
nd on all-time season stats list), shot percentage (.654) and ground balls (64, 2
nd on all-time season stats list)… Placed second on the team in goals (34), points (51, 8
th on all-time season stats list), shots (52), shots on goal (44), shots on goal percentage (.846), draw controls (47), and caused turnovers (14)… Mitchell also had two game-winning goals including one against SUNY Canton on March 11th… Lindsay was named EC Athlete of the Week on three occasions for the weeks of March 18th, April 8th and April 22nd… She was also named Empire 8 Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week April 22nd… Mitchell was named Booster Club Player of the Year and earned Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades… Lindsay proved to be one of the best offensive and defensive players for Elmira College Women’s Lacrosse of all-time, placing herself in six different career categories with 186 points (2
nd), 145 goals (2
nd), 116 draw controls (5
th), 172 groundballs (2
nd), 41 assists (3
rd), and 63 caused turnovers (2
nd).
2011 Season
Led Elmira with 35 goals, adding 11 assists for a total of 46 points… Mitchell scored on 41 percent of her shots and recorded a team-high 36 ground balls, while causing 25 turnovers and tallying 22 draw controls… Mitchell was named to the 2011 Empire 8 Honorable Mention All-Conference team in 2011, with 19 goals and 6 assists against conference opponents.
2010 Season
Started 11 of 13 games played… Led the Soaring Eagles with 40 goals… Added seven assists, while recording a .705 shot on goal percentage… Accumulated 34 ground balls and 23 draw controls, earning Empire 8 Honorable Mention.
2009 Season
Started nine of 11 games played… Led the team in points with 38, including a team-leading 32 goals… Picked up 31 ground balls and caused 15 turnovers… She was named Empire 8 Rookie of the Year.
