Empire 8 President's List (Spring 2020)

2020 Season
Started two of his four appearances on the mound in the shortened 2020 season...Ranked second among all pitchers with a .227 batting average against and third with nine strikeouts...Struck out five, a season-high, and allowed two runs on three hits against Augustana (Ill.) (2/21)...Collected three strikeouts in 1.2 innings at Stevenson (3/1).

2019 Season
Set career highs in appearances (12), starts (7), innings (35.2), and strikeouts (40) while joining the rotation as a junior...Ranked second on the team in strikeouts, logged the fifth-lowest opposing batting average among qualified single-season leaders (.252), and the second-best strikeout-per-nine average (10.09) in program history...Fanned four and allowed two earned runs in 3.2 innings at Rochester (3/14)...Did not surrender a hit but allowed one unearned run in 3.0 innings vs. SUNY Cobleskill (4/3)...Struck out five with two earned runs in 3.0 frames vs. Plattsburgh (4/13)...Set a career-high with seven punch outs in a one-hit, two-run performance in 4.0 innings against St. John Fisher (4/24)...Struck out six in 3.0 innings at SUNY Canton (4/29).

2018 Season
Logged 8.0 innings in eight games out of the bullpen as a sophomore...Allowed just five hits and an opposing batting average of .200 with five strikeouts...Combined for 2.0 scoreless innings with four strikeouts and no hits in two relief outings against Empire 8 foe Ithaca (4/7, 5/3), which included a career-high three punch outs in an inning of work at Ithaca (4/7)...Recorded a scoreless inning in an 11-5 win over Hilbert (4/13).

2017 Season
Made six appearances in his debut season on the Soaring Eagles…Owned a 5.06 ERA and struck out six batters in 5.1 innings pitched…Struck out two batters in 0.2 innings in his first collegiate appearance against Mitchell (2/26)...Tossed 1.0 innings and did not allow a run in a 20-6 win over Houghton (4/1)…Pitched 1.0 inning of scoreless baseball and struck out one batter in a 6-1 triumph over Medaille (4/29)…Hurled a season-high 2.0 innings, struck out a pair of opposing batters and allowed just one earned run in a non-conference matchup against Penn State-Behrend (5/9).

Before Elmira
Graduated from Sutherland Secondary School in North Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2015...Lettered in basketball for the Sabres...Pitched for the Coquitlam Reds of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL) in 2016 and the White Rock Tritons in 2015...Also played for the Vancouver Jr. Cannons of the British Columbia Junior Premier Baseball League...Represented British Columbia in the 2016 Big League Baseball Canada Regional Tournament.
