Veronica Jacober begins her second season as the Elmira College assistant field hockey coach in 2014.
Jacober, a 2013 graduate of Delaware Valley College, was a four-year member of the Aggies’ Field Hockey team, starting every game at midfield during her career. The midfielder helped lead the Aggies to the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) playoffs three out of four years and was named to the MAC All-Conference team in 2012. Jacober was also named the 2010 Delaware Valley College Team Offensive Player of the Year and finished her career with 21 goals, 13 assists, and two defensive saves.
Along with her standout playing career, Jacober has served as a field hockey coach since 2010. She was a U-12 and U-14 indoor field hockey coach from 2011-2013, overseeing all practice planning as well as helping with the tryout and selection process. She was a camp counselor for the Delaware Valley College Field Hockey camp in 2010 and 2011, coaching 12-15 year old campers and then went on to work for World Camp USA in the summers of 2012 and 2013 as a counselor for the camp’s international players.
Jacober is pursuing a Master’s Degree at Elmira College.
