2016-17 Season
Led EC with 14 starts between the pipes and logged a team-high 816:17 minutes of ice time...Earned a 3-9-1 record and a .904 save percentage…Scored his first collegiate point on a goal against Stevenson (11/04)...Recorded 30 saves in an 8-6 win over Lebanon Valley (11/05)… Made 44 saves and forced nationally-ranked SUNY Geneseo  into a 2-2 draw (1/7)…Made 38 saves on his way to earning a 5-2 victory over nationally-ranked Salve Geneseo (1/14)...Posted a season-high 46 saves in a neutral site bout against Hobart (1/21).

2015-16 Season
Made 11 starts on the season, logging 623:18 of time between the pipes…Finished with a 4-6-0 record, a save percentage of .906 and a goals-against average of 3.27… Made a season-high 42 saves in the season-opening overtime loss against Neumann (11/6)…Won three straight starts against SUNY Potsdam (12/8), SUNY Brockport (1/8), and nationally-ranked SUNY Geneseo (1/9)…Held the No. 4/8 Knights to a single goal in a 5-1 victory…Stopped 28 shots in a 4-1 win over Curry (1/16)… Started in the ECAC First Round matchup against Utica College and registered 32 saves (2/24).

2014-15 Season
Led EC goaltenders with 14 starts, 828:21 minutes of playing time, and 471 saves…Went 7-5-2 as a sophomore… Began the season with 31 saves in a 1-1 tie with Manhattanville (11/8), with the one goal allowed marking a season-low among his season’s starts…Recorded 43 saves in a 7-2 victory over Fredonia (12/2)…Won three consecutive appearances against Wesleyan (12/6), Buffalo State (1/6) and SUNY Geneseo (1/9)…Came off of the bench and played only the third period against Wesleyan, earning the victory with one goal allowed and 24 saves in EC’s 7-6 triumph…Started both ECAC West Tournament games, making 32 saves in the 5-2 win over Utica in the first round and a career-high 55 in the loss to No. 13/11 Hobart in the semis.

2013-14 Season
Debuted as a freshman with a team-leading 11-6-0 mark and 3.21 goals-against average in 17 starts and 991:56 minutes of ice time… Led EC with a single-season career-high 542 saves…Went 7-2-0 inside ECAC West play…Won his first career start in the season opener, 4-2, with 30 saves against No. 14 Neumann (11/1)…Picked up first career shutout by making 28 stops in a 5-0 win over Fredonia (11/19) …Defeated No. 11 SUNY Geneseo (1/11) by a score of 5-1 with 35 saves and topped No. 10 Oswego State (1/18) with 42 saves in a 3-2 victory…Saved a season-high 43 shots in a 7-6 overtime win over No. 12 Utica on January 31st.

Before Elmira
Played his final two junior seasons with the New York Apple Core of the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL)...Appeared in 65 regular-season and five postseason games with the Apple Core from 2011-2013...Posted a 3.86 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage in 2012-13 in the regular season, while registering a minute 1.24 goals-against average in three playoff games.

Personal 
Sal is a Nursing major. He also lettered in lacrosse in high school and is a member of the EC men's lacrosse team.
