Richmond appeared in 42 games for the Soaring Eagles under head coach Preston Chapman from 2013 season through 2016. He was a starter on close defense and a captain in each of his final two seasons, collecting 38 ground balls and causing 13 turnovers in his career. The bruising 6-foot-5 defender also scored one goal as a freshman against Empire 8 Conference foe Nazareth College.

Off the field, Richmond played a key role in organizing community service events and operating social media accounts for the Soaring Eagles men’s lacrosse team. He helped EC develop a partnership with the HEADstrong Foundation, a lacrosse-based cancer fundraiser and awareness program, which brought in over $4,200 for the organization through its annual Mustache Madness Campaign. EC raised the 10th-most among all of the teams that participated in the annual fundraising event, which brought in over $170,000 to support HEADstrong's mission.

Richmond graduated from EC in 2016 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Management.
