Empire 8 President's List (Spring 2020)

2020 Season
Played in three games and started one during the shortened 2020 season...Elmira went 3-0 in his three contests...Finished third on the team with six caused turnovers and recorded three ground balls...Caused a season-high three turnovers in a 7-5 win over SUNY Cobleskill (3/7) and forced two more in a 9-7 victory vs. Wells (3/11).

2019 Season
Made five starts in nine appearances...Posted a career-high three points on two goals and one assist...Added 16 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers, both of which are also career highs...Scored a goal in a 9-8 triumph over Wells (3/13)...Made his first start of the season against E8 foe Nazareth (3/23)...Scored a goal and added an assist against Hartwick (3/27)...Tallied three ground balls and forced two turnovers in a 10-6 triumph over Houghton (4/24).

2018 Season
Played in five contests and started once as a sophomore...Registered two shots...Took a shot and caused a turnover against Utica (3/31).

2017 Season
Made 10 appearances during his freshman campaign, which included three starts…Started in three straight games against conference opponents St. John Fisher (4/18), Stevens (4/22) and No. 12 Ithaca (4/26)…Capped his debut season with two ground balls and one caused turnover in the finale against Utica (4/29).

Before Elmira
Graduated from The Hill Academy in Vaughn, Ontario, in 2014...Played two seasons of ice hockey at The Hill, before joining the Elliot Lake Wildcats of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

Personal
Spencer is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Management. He is also a member of the EC men's ice hockey team.
