2013 Season
Appeared in 31 matches finishing second on the team in kills (302) and first in kills per set (3.02) and service aces (43). He also tallied 165 digs and 33 blocks.

2012 Season
Ryan played in 141 sets during his second season with Elmira leading the team in kills (420), attempts (917), and aces (53). Gelenitis finished second on the team in kills per set (2.98) and digs (205), as well as third in attempt percentage (.278), digs per set (1.45) and total blocks (54). He was named EC Athlete of the Week and UVC Player of the Week Apr. 1st, while also earning UVC Honorable Mention accolades and EC Men’s Volleyball Booster Club Player of the Year.
 
2011 Season
Finished the year by racking up a team-high 404 kills, 26 assists, 31 aces,160 digs and 23 solo blocks.

Secondary School
Was a First Team All-State and First Team All-Shore selection. He was also named team captain and MVP.

Personal
Ryan is a Math Education major and a Presidential scholar.
