2022 Season
Appeared in all 31 games for the Soaring Eagles, making 25 starts serving as the teams’ primary third basemen…finished the year hitting .226, recording 19 hits in 84 at-bats with 12 runs scored and six RBI…stole seven bases on the season which was second on the team behind Madison Brown-Bloom (8)…put together a 2-for-3 performance in the season-opener against Marywood (3/21)…finished the season recording hits in six of her final seven games to finish her career, increasing her batting average from .185 to .226…put together five multi-hit games during the season while finishing with a .944 fielding percentage, good for fourth on the team amongst qualified players.
 
2021 Season
Appeared in all 27 games, making starts in each for head coach Randie Torgalski…finished the season hitting .230 with 17 hits, six runs scored, and a career-best nine RBI…began the season with a 2-for-4 performance against Alfred State (3/20) in which she hit a double and a triple…recorded hits in six of seven games from 4/24-5/2…put together back-to-back two-hit games against Keuka (4/3) and Nazareth (4/10) driving in a run in each of the contests…finished the season with three stolen bases and an .877 fielding percentage.

2020 Season
The 2020 spring season was canceled before Elmira played a game due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 Season
Appeared in 10 games as a freshman...Posted one hit, a double, during a 1-for-2 showing at the plate against Pitt-Bradford (3/26).

Before Elmira
Graduated from Palmyra-Macedon High School in Palmyra, New York, in 2018...Earned letters as a member of the softball and swim teams at Pal-Mac...Twice earned Finger Lakes East All-League First Team and thrice was named an All-Greater Rochester Honorable Mention...As a senior, she batted .403 with 18 extra-base hits.

Personal
Alex is a dual-major in Political Science and Legal Studies. Her sister, Felicity Brockhuizen '22, is also a member of the Elmira College softball team.
