Purcell comes to the Elmira College Athletic Department after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with a concentration in History, from The College of New Jersey this past spring. The Nutley, NJ, native had a decorated career as a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Lions’ softball program. In addition to her duties as a coach and operations assistant, she will also be pursuing a graduate degree while at Elmira.
