Morgan Starley joined the Elmira College softball staff as a volunteer assistant and pitching coach ahead of the 2021 season.
A former Division II student-athlete, Starley was a four-year letter winner at Queens College in Queens, New York. Across four seasons, she amassed 166.1 innings pitched and 79 strikeouts in 48 appearances in the circle, including 12 complete games. The Knights advanced to the NCAA Regionals in each of her first two collegiate seasons and won the 2015 East Coast Conference championship during her sophomore campaign.
A Windsor, New York, native, Starley enjoyed a stellar high school career at Windsor Central High School. She helped the Black Knights win three consecutive sectional championship and a pair of Class B state titles in 2011 and 2013. In the 2013 state championship, she surrendered just three hits in a complete-game victory, helping Windsor finish with a 24-2 overall record that spring. Starley was named to the Class B All-State First Team as a senior and the All-State Second Team at the conclusion of her junior year.
Starley, a family services caseworker at the Broome County Department of Social Services, previously coached for the Conklin Raiders travel ball organization at the 10U, 12U, 16U, and 18U levels for four years from 2014-18.
