2017 E8 Sportswoman of the Year

2019 Season
Was one of four players to start in all 24 contests as a senior....Hit .264 on the season with 19 hits and a team-leading 15 RBI...Tied for the team lead in doubles (4) and slugged a team-high four homers...Recorded five multi-hit games...Registered a season-best 12 putouts Lycoming (3/20)...Went 2-for-4 at the dish with one double and one RBI in a 10-2 win over Pitt-Bradford (3/26)...Tallied a season-best 5 RBI and hit a homerun in a 10-2 thrashing of Morrisville (3/27)... Went 2-for-3 at the dish with a homerun and a double in a 5-0 shutout of Clarks Summit (3/28)...Worked a walk, hit a homer  and scored two runs in an 8-7 triumph over SUNY Poly (4/3)...Posted two hits with one double and an RBI to go along with 10 putouts in a 5-4 win against E8 foe Alfred (4/7)...Added a pair of hits in a 12-4 conference victory against Sage (4/14).

2018 Season
Saw time in 11 games and made 10 starts as a junior...Batted a career-high .286 (8-for-28) with two doubles, one home run, three RBIs and five runs scored...Slugged her first career home run in her first appearance, going 1-for-3 in an 8-4 win over Houghton (4/14) in the first half of a doubleheader...Had two hits and scored two runs in a 10-0 win over Alfred State (4/26)...Ended the season with at least one hit in five of her last six games.

2017 Season
Made four appearances during her sophomore season…Saw playing time in wins over SUNY Canton (4/3) and Houghton (4/26).

2016 Season
Played in 11 of Elmira’s 24 games, making starts in eight of them…Finished the season with a .250 batting average to go along with four doubles, six runs and two RBIs…Went 2-for-4 from the plate with two doubles and one run in a 6-1 victory over Hilbert College (3/30)…Hit 2-for-3 and recorded one double and three runs in a 10-5 victory over Empire 8 adversary Houghton College (4/1)…Posted one hit and one walk to go along with a double and a RBI in a matchup against E8 foe Utica College (4/23).

Before Elmira
Played softball at Braintree High School in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Personal
Sam is majoring in Nursing. She is also a member of the women's volleyball team at Elmira College.
