Marki Michaels '13

Marki Michaels ’13 enters her second season as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach.

Michaels, a 2013 graduate of Elmira College, is certainly familiar with the women’s lacrosse team as she spent four years at attack for the Purple and Gold.  In four seasons with the Soaring Eagles, Michaels recorded 89 points on 47 goals and 42 assists.  Her 42 career assists are the third most in Elmira College history and her 89 total points are tied for 10th most as well.  In three of her four years, Michaels recorded double-digit assists, including the 2012 season when she came up with 12 assists, tying for ninth place in Elmira College history for single-season assists.

During her final two seasons as a player on the EC women’s lacrosse team, Michaels successfully led the Soaring Eagles to back-to-back eight win seasons.  Both eight win years are the best showing the Elmira women have had since the 2006 season. Michaels was also a two-year member of the Elmira College women’s basketball team.

Michaels is pursuing a Master’s Degree in General Management at Elmira College.
