Elmira College Athletics

2013 Season
Bartus had a great final season on the defensive side with the Soaring Eagles leading the team with 50 ground balls and 40 caused turnovers in 17 games. Her best game this season came in her final game with the Purple and Gold where she produced eight caused turnovers and seven ground balls on Apr. 30th against Oswego State. She ranks tied for ninth in EC history for ground balls in a season (50), seventh for ground balls in her career (111), second for caused turnovers in a season (40), and third for caused turnovers for her career (72). 

2012 Season
Laura started and appeared in every game for Elmira College registering two points on one goal and one assist.  Bartus’ 13 groundballs placed her third on the team for the category.
 
2011 Season
Started 10 games, while appearing in all 15 contests in her rookie season in the Purple and Gold. She compiled three points on one goal and two assists, tallied 27 ground balls, five draw controls and forced 19 turnovers.

Secondary School
Was a member of Williston Northampton School as well as the Suffield Soccer Club where she was named team captain in final season. She also is a member of the ice hockey & lacrosse teams.

Personal
Laura is a Speech and Language Disabilities major.
