Elmira College Athletics

2017 Season
Started all 15 games for the Soaring Eagles for the second consecutive season…Recorded new career highs in ground balls (20) and caused turnovers (6)…Recorded three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers in a 10-9 win over New England (4/2)…Scooped up a career-high four ground balls to go along with a pair of caused turnovers in a 9-7 triumph over SUNY Canton (4/23).

2016 Season
Started in all 15 games for the Purple and Gold… Recorded one point on one goal in her rookie campaign… Recovered 11 ground balls on the season… Picked up a pair of ground balls twice in matchups against the University of Rochester (3/15) and Utica (3/26)… Scored her lone goal of the year in an 18-5 triumph over Hilbert (4/28).

Before Elmira
Was a three-sport athlete at The John Carroll School, playing varsity field hockey and lacrosse, in addition to participating on the varsity track team.

Personal
Matilda is majoring in Speech and Hearing with a minor in Audiology. She is also a member of the EC field hockey team.
