Kristyn O’Rourke ’13 returns to Elmira for her third season as a volunteer assistant women’s soccer coach during the 2019-20 academic year.
A former standout on the EC women’s soccer team, O’Rourke will bring an attacking edge to her alma mater’s coaching staff. During her four-year career, the Beaver Dams, New York, native, amassed nine goals and four assists for a total of 22 points in 42 games played. As a freshman, O’Rourke started in 13 games, finishing second on the team with 14 points on five goals and a team-leading four assists.
Upon graduation from Elmira, O’Rourke pursued a career as a social worker, earning a master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Southern California in 2015. Currently, O’Rourke works with CASA-Trintiy as a Clinical Supervisor.
