Elmira College has announced the hiring of Spencer Passmore as the new Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator of the Soaring Eagles men's lacrosse program.
Passmore, a native of Corning, New York, brings experience as a Division I player at Hobart College under Head Coach Greg Raymond. Coached by Chris Hogue at Corning Painted-Post, Passmore was a three-year varsity letter winner, while earning The Corning Leader Player of the Year in 2014 as a senior. During his final two seasons with the Hawks, Passmore produced 125 points and was a three-year member of the Nike Upstate Rising team.
"As a Corning native, this opportunity means a lot to me," Passmore said. "Playing Division I lacrosse for Coach Raymond at Hobart taught me the importance of preparation, discipline, and attention to detail—values that shape my coaching philosophy today. I'm excited to help our student-athletes reach their full potential in the classroom, on the field, in the weight room, and beyond. This isn't just about lacrosse—it's about building young men who will lead with character and be respected in the community. I'm proud to be part of Elmira College and ready to get to work."
