Kazerouni played a total of 21 minutes in EC's two games last week, but she made an immediate impact helping the Purple and Gold pull off a 3-1, come-from-behind victory over Stevens Tech.
 
Kazerouni entered the game in the 70th minute with Elmira trailing 1-0 and almost immediately nearly tied the score at one only to see her shot saved by the Ducks' keeper, Evelyn Ting. Ting, however, would not be able to stop Kazerouni on the newcomer's next time down the field, as Kazerouni beat Ting high for her second career goal, tying the game at one apiece.
 
The offense did not stop there for Kazerouni, as she put the Soaring Eagles ahead for good in the 83rd minute. After receiving a pass on the left sideline from Allie Olsen '16, Kazerouni dribbled past her defender and into the 18-yard box. Then, from about 10 yards out on the left side of the net, Kazerouni fired a shot on goal, beating Ting high again for her second goal in 13 minutes. Mackenzie Donohue '15 would add a goal on a free kick to seal EC's 3-1 victory.
 
Kazerouni and the women's soccer team returns to the pitch on Tuesday, September 30th when they host Fredonia State in a non-conference contest. The game is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
