A native of Clifton Park, New York, Matt Straney '20 helped guide the men's volleyball team to a 2-1 record with wins over Misericordia and Bard. The senior middle blocker had a standout week for the Soaring Eagles with 25 kills on .360-percent hitting, as well as six blocks, five services aces and four digs. He averaged 2.27 kills per set and finished as EC's leader in blocks per set at 0.55.
