Griffin helped the Soaring Eagles to a perfect 5-0 week, which included EC's first win over a ranked opponent this season, a 3-2 victory over No. 6 Nazareth College. He played in three of the five matches, totaling 61 kills, two aces, 23 digs, two solo blocks, and three block assists. He also increased his kills per set average to 4.35, which places him at the top of the Division III national leaderboard.

EC found themselves behind 2-0 to Nazareth on Wednesday night, but Griffin and the Soaring Eagles rallied for a 3-2, come-from-behind victory. The third-year talent had a match-high 27 kills, 16 of which came in the final three sets. Then in the opening match of the Mark Twain Cup against Stevenson University, Griffin again posted a match-high with 23 kills as Elmira won 3-1. He also recorded his first double-digit dig effort of the season with 12 against the Mustangs. He rounded out his weekend Saturday morning against UVC opponent, Penn State Behrend. He notched 11 kills, five digs, and two blocks in a 3-0 win over the Lions.

Griffin and the men's volleyball team travel to Cambridge, MA on Saturday, March 7th for their second UVC Tri-Match of the season. EC will take on No. 11 MIT at 11:00 a.m. before squaring-off with No. 2 Stevens Tech at 2:00 p.m.
