On Class of 2021 Recognition Day Friday afternoon at Campus Field, Taylor Hanson '21 played a key role in Elmira's exciting comeback against SUNY Delhi. Down by three in the first half, the women's soccer team post three unanswered goals and finished with a 3-3 draw against the Broncos. Hanson, who led EC in shots (8) and shots on goal (4), found the back of the net in the 76th minute. On the receiving end of a long over-the-top pass from Zoya Katta '21, the senior striker raced into the box and fired a hard shot through the goalkeeper's hands, trimming Delhi's lead to 3-2.
In an abbreviated four-game spring season, Hanson recorded team-highs in points (4) and goals (2). The Chatham, New York, native concluded her career with 25 points on 12 markers and one assist in 51 games played for the Purple and Gold.
