Kari Jensen '23 not only led the women's lacrosse team in every statistical category in three games last week, but the second-year midfielder also guided the Soaring Eagles to an 18-16 victory over Division II Edinboro University on Monday. The Waterloo, New York, native logged career highs in points (7) and goals (7), and set a new program record for draw controls with 19 against the Fighting Scots. In the series finale at Edinboro on Thursday, Jensen added three points (2g-1a) with 11 more draws, her third game in double figures this season.
Through eight games this spring, Jensen ranks second in the Empire 8 in ground balls per game (3.38), and third in both draw controls (7.13) and caused turnovers (2.13) per game.
