Ally Barr '21 started all three games for the Soaring Eagles last week, including the Empire 8 Conference Championship first-round matchup at Alfred on Saturday. In 17.2 innings, the Pine City, New York, native logged a 2.77 earned run average and struck out seven versus only two walks. She surrendered one earned run with three strikeouts in a complete game against Russell Sage on Thursday, then tossed another complete game in a narrow 2-0 loss in the E8 Championship against the Saxons.
During the 2021 season, Barr led EC's pitching staff with a 4.62 ERA in 119.2 innings pitched. She logged 13 complete games in 18 starts and struck out a team-high 57.
