Puglisi had an unbelievable weekend on the mound for the Soaring Eagles earning three shutout wins with two coming against Empire 8 foe Utica College. Against Morrisville she gave up one hit, while striking out 10 batters in the 8-0 shutout win Friday evening.

On Saturday against Utica she pitched 14 straight innings allowing only six hits, while striking out 15 batters. She helped EC earn 1-0 and 4-0 victories over the Pioneers. In 39 innings pitched so far this season she has allowed only 19 hits and six runs, while striking out 44 batters and earning an ERA of 0.72. 

The Softball team returns to the diamond Wednesday when it travels to Williamsport, PA to take on the Pennsylvania School of Technology for a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m.
