Elmira, NY – The Elmira College Women's Volleyball team tied its season-high seven game win streak as it disposed of Houghton College 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-12) Thursday evening in Elmira. The Soaring Eagles improve to 14-1, while the Highlanders drop to 4-13.

Brittany Raykoske '12 (Johnstown, NY -- Gloversville), Taryn Rumsey '14 (Mansfield, PA -- Mansfield) and Sasha Zavadska '13 (Bratislava, SVK -- The British School) combined to finish with 25 kills and 19 digs. Catherine Miller '14 (Pittsburg, PA -- Penn Hills) added a team-high 14 digs, while Molly Short '13 (Sterling, CO -- Sterling) notched 25 assists.

EC returns to action this weekend when they travel to the Susquehanna Tournament. Elmira's first match of the weekend is Friday at 6:00 p.m. against PSU-Berks.
