Box Score Keuka Lake, NY – Alexander Poole '13 scored two goals in the first half and helped the EC Men's Soccer team get another victory beating Keuka College, 2-0, Tuesday evening. The Soaring Eagles improve to 11-4 overall, while the Storms fall to 7-5 overall.

The Purple and Gold squad controlled the tempo for the entire game outshooting the Storm 22-2 and getting 14 of those shots on goal. Poole was the only player to score in the game contributing two goals in the first half. His first score came at the 7:20 mark when he shot it towards the far post passed Keuka goalie Preston Vick. The second goal came at the 39 minute mark when he took a direct kick to the far post for the score. The Storm would try to even up the score late in the second half, but the Soaring Eagle defense remained strong.

Poole led both teams with five shots and two goals. Tre Ming '16 contributed three shots on goal, while Jackson Correia '14 recorded two shots on goal. Kevin Huggins '16 earned the win for EC and recorded one save, while Preston Vick played an outstanding game for Keuka and recorded 12 saves.     

The Soaring Eagles will return to action Saturday, October 20^th when they travel to Houghton College in another battle starting at 3:30 p.m.
