New York, NY – The Elmira College Men's Volleyball team dropped a heartbreaker in the Quarterfinal round of the United Volleyball Conference Championships, 3-2 (20-25, 25-23, 11-25, 25-13, 9-15), to No. 10 Medaille Saturday evening. The win improves the three seeded Mavericks to 23-8, while the loss drops the six seeded Soaring Eagles to 22-17.

The Purple and Gold gave it their best to the bitter end but Medaille would hold on to win 15-9 and earn a spot in the UVC Semifinals.
