Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College women's volleyball team will be hosting their Spike for Life game on October 22nd when the Soaring Eagles take on Cortland State. The women's volleyball team will be wearing special uniforms in honor of this event. Fans are encouraged to wear pink or purple to show their support in the fight against cancer.
Admission will be charged at the door for all spectators, $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for students, with all proceeds from the game going to benefit the American Cancer Society. Additionally, there will be bracelets, ribbons, and baked goods for sale as well as a serving game for prizes. For $2.00, each contestant will get three serves to hit any one of the t-shirts or other prizes lying on the floor on the other side of the net. If the server hits a prize with their serve, they win it.
