Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College men's ice hockey team will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak to SUNYAC opponents as they host Fredonia State in a rare Tuesday night game. The Soaring Eagles will take on the Blue Devils tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Murray Athletic Center.

Home is Where the Dome is
Elmira returns home for a rare Tuesday night game against the Fredo¬nia State Blue Devils. EC is fresh off a weekend road trip in which the Soaring Eagles fell to the College at Brockport and current No. 8 nationally ranked Oswego State. Elmira is 2-1 at home this season and under head Coach

Elmira in Tuesday Night Games
Since the 1999-00 season, Elmira has done extremely well in Tues¬day night games. The EC men boast a 21-5-1 record in those games, including an 11-3-1 mark when playing those games at the Murray Athletic Center. Also, Elmira is undefeated against Fredonia State in Tuesday night games since the 1999-00 season.
No. 2 Power Play Unit
Elmira has been extremely efficient when they have had an extra skater this season as the Purple and Gold have scored 11 times on 33 power play opportunities. Their 33.3 scoring percentage is tied for second most in the nation.
Burnell's No. 1
Josh Burnell '15 scored his fourth power play goal of the season against the Lakers of Oswego State. Burnell's four power play goals are tied for most in NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey.
Coach Saul vs. Fredonia
As head coach of the Purple and Gold,
Aaron Saul '98 has gotten the bet¬ter of Fredonia State, boasting a 6-1 record against the Blue Devils. Prior to last year's loss, Saul's EC teams had beaten Fredonia five straight times.
Comfortable at Home

Sal Magliocco '17 has been thrown into the fire so to speak, starting in all six of Elmira's games in his first year with the Purple and Gold. He has recorded two wins this season, both at home, including a 42 save performance against Nazareth on November 9th, a career high for Magliocco.
