Danielle Cleary '18 has been named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week in recognition of her strong play last week. In the two games at the University of Dallas Tip-Off Classic, Cleary averaged 14.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
Coming off the BenchMadison Carolus '18 scored 15 points off the bench against Centenary College. This is the most points an Elmira player has scored off the bench since

Brooks with a Career-HighJessica Brooks '16 scored 12 points and added three rebounds against the University of Dallas on Friday, November 21st. The 12 points is a new career-high for Brooks, eclipsing a previous career-high of nine set on February 15th, 2013.
Cleaning Up the BoardsMeghan Loya '16 continues to control the glass this season. In both games at the Dallas Tip-Off Classic, Loya led the Purple and Gold in rebounds with nine apiece. She is averaging 11.7 boards a game and ranks second in the Empire 8 Conference in rebounding.
Unfamiliar TerritoryFor the third game in a row, Elmira will compete against an opponent they have not faced in recent history. The EC women will take on Hilbert College for the first time ever, the Purple and Gold are 1-1 against teams they have not previously faced this season.
