Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College women's basketball team will return to action on December 30th to host Rutgers University-Camden at 6:00 p.m.

Cleary's Accolades
Danielle Cleary '18 not only scored a career-high 22 points against SUNY Potsdam, she went 6-for-8 from beyond the arc and made the most three-pointers by an EC player since Becky Peterman '11 made the same amount in the 2010-11 season. For her efforts, Cleary was named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Week for the third time in five
weeks and was named the Corvias ECAC Upstate Rookie of the Week.

Taking Control
In Elmira's 62-47 win over SUNY Potsdam, the EC women took a 21 point lead with 5:42 left in the game. Not only is this the largest lead the Purple and Gold have had this season at any point during a game, it is the biggest lead since last season's February 4th matchup with Alfred University when EC led by the same amount.

Balara's Return
Alex Balara '15 played in just her second game of the season against SUNY Potsdam and she posted 14 points, nine rebounds, five steals, four assists, and two blocks. She now has six games in her career with five assists.

First-Time Matchup
For the first time in over 13 years, Elmira will compete against Rutgers-Camden. This is the fifth matchup this season that EC has gone up against a team that they had not previously seen. During the previous four contests, the Purple and Gold have gone 3-1.
