Elmira opened the day with a 3-0 win over Penn State Altoona before falling in the nightcap by an identical score to Lakeland College.

The Soaring Eagles resume play at the Thiel College Tournament tomorrow, February 1st when Elmira takes on Mount St. Joseph University and Fontbonne University. Tomorrow's matches are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively.
