Elmira, NY -- The No. 11 Elmira College men's volleyball team will travel to the Flower City to take on No. 7 Nazareth College for a UVC matchup tomorrow. The match is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
Last Time OutThe Purple and Gold are coming off a two match split at the UVC Tri-Match at the Massachusetts of Technology. Elmira started the day off with a 3-0 sweep over host No. 13 MIT before falling 3-1 to No. 2 Stevens Institute of Technology.
Get the Brooms OutThe EC men's 3-0 sweep over then No. 13 MIT marked the Soaring Eagles' fourth straight sweep. The four-game streak marks Elmira's longest 3-0 win streak in program history.
A Look at the Golden FlyersNazareth College is 20-4 overall and have a 3-2 mark inside the UVC. The Golden Flyers have won the past eight-of-ten matches and are most recently coming off a 3-1 win to Penn St.-Behrend. Tim Zyburth leads Nazareth on offense with 3.41 kills per set while Jake Kemp sets up the offense with 8.23 assists per set. Grant Levermore and Zyburt lead on the defensive end of the court with 1.54 and 1.46 digs per set, respectively.
