Wednesday, September 9, 2015 | 7:00 P.M. | Keuka Park, NY – Jephson Complex
Live Coverage

Elmira, NY -- After opening the 2015 season with back-to-back games at Campus Field, the Elmira College men's soccer team will be on the road for the first time tomorrow, September 9th, when the Purple and Gold visit the Wolfpack of Keuka College for a non-conference matchup.  Wednesday's game is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. under the lights at Keuka's Jephson Complex.

Last Time Out
Elmira has had a few days to reflect on their last game, one that resulted in a 2-1 defeat against visiting Susquehanna University.  After playing to a 0-0 halftime score, Susquehanna broke the deadlock with a header goal off of a corner kick in the 61st minute.  Elmira's Michael Bryant '17 evened things up in 81st minute on a penalty kick, however, one minute later the Crusaders would score the eventual game-winning goal to seal a 2-1 victory.

Bryant Goes Back-to-Back
EC's Bryant has had a great start to the 2015 season, as he leads the Soaring Eagles with five points on two goals and one assist.  Bryant opened the year by scoring the season's opening goal against No. 19 SUNY Cortland and followed that up with a tally against Susquehanna.  Bryant's goals in back-to-back games is the first time an EC player has scored in consecutive games since the 2013 season.

Series History
Elmira and Keuka have seen a lot of each other over the years, facing each other 13 times since 1994.  In those 13 matchups, Elmira has gotten the better of the Wolfpack, as the Soaring Eagles hold a convincing 12-1 advantage in the all-time series.  The Soaring Eagles enter tomorrow's contest having won the last four meetings by a combined score of 6-0.  Keuka's last win, and only win, dates back to the 2008 season when the Wolfpack edged Elmira, 2-0.

Scouting Keuka

The Wolfpack enter tomorrow's contest 1-0-1 after picking up a 2-0 shutout victory against D'Youville College.  In the win over D'Youville, Keuka saw Rohel Duncan and Ben Schreiber score goals in the 62nd and 65th minutes, respectively.  Schreiber paces the Keuka offense with a pair of goals on the season, while Willie Romero and Preston Vick have split time in net, combining for sour saves and just one goal allowed.

Looking Ahead
Elmira will be back in action this Saturday, September 12th, when the Purple and Gold return to Campus Field for a non-conference battle with Hilbert College. Last season, Hilbert and Elmira played to a 3-3 double overtime tie.  Saturday's kick-off is set for 3:00 p.m.
