ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Elmira College women's volleyball capped off the 2016 regular season with an exhilarating five-set comeback over Liberty League foe, Bard College, in the first of two matches on the second day of the Dig Pink Invitational, hosted by SUNY Oneonta.
Down two-sets-to-one, the spirited Soaring Eagles responded to even the match with a 25-17 victory, before sealing the win with a 15-11 triumph in the decisive fifth set. The Purple and Gold attacked with a tournament-high .318 percentage in the fifth set with nine kills and only two errors.
