 A strong serving performance by the Elmira College women's volleyball team paved the way for a 3-0 sweep of SUNY Delhi in non-league action on Tuesday night. With the win, Elmira improves to 4-3 on the season.
 
The Soaring Eagles produced a season-high 15 service aces in the win, marking just the third time this season the Elmira women have logged double-digit aces. Leading the charge from the service line was Natalie Schieder '19, who served up the second-highest single-match ace total of her collegiate career with six.
 
Six Soaring Eagles recorded aces in the match, four of whom logged two or more. Taylor Kaznowski '19 produced three aces to go along with 21 assists. Rachel Katzenberger '19 and Kelsey Ray '17 recorded two aces apiece. Katzenberger also shared the team lead in digs with Schieder, as the two classmates made 12 in the match.
 
Elmira hit .115 as a collective group on a 29k-19e-87ta stat line. Ray led all players with a match-high seven kills, while Schieder and Day chipped in with six kills apiece.
